Scientist's may just have found out the first 'exomoon' ! Neptune sized world may be orbiting a gas giant

Astronomers believe to be found out the first exomoon or moon orbiting an alien planet, 8,000 light years away.Alex Teachey, an astronomer from the Columbia University at New York along with David Kipping, another Columbia University astronomer have been able to pull up this feat with the help of the Kepler and The Hubble Telescope.

We've tried our best to rule out other possibilities such as spacecraft anomalies, other planets in the system or stellar activity, but we're unable to find any other single hypothesis which can explain all of the data we have," co-author David Kipping, an astronomer at Columbia University in New York, told reporters
The news came after an exoplanet hunt namely Kepler - 1625 b, by Teachey and Kipping. According to them the planet Kepler - 1625 b, which is about three times the size of Jupiter, which is most probably a gas giant…

A Full Documentary : The Solar System Explained
The Solar System comprises of 8 Planets, 5 + 1 new (Goblin Planet ) Dwarf planets, 173 Natural Satellites and other small bodies like asteroids, comets, meteorides. Previously Our Solar system was thought to comprise of 9 planets, until Pluto was removed from the status of a planet to a Dwarf Planet in the year 1996. But according to various Space agencies and Scottshepard,a cosmologist activities in the Transneptune zone are probably indicating the presence of a planet Nine. Planet Nine is thought to be a super Earth, having masses of about 10 Earths.

SUN
Sun is the primary and the only star supporting the Solar System. It is the most important part of the Solar System, as it sits at the centre with planets orbiting around it. Its nothing but a hot ball of burning gas performing nuclear fusion at its core. Its the only source of light and heat to the entire Solar System. Life on Earth would never had formed without the Sun.

Nasa's Voyager 2 may be ready to set another record by reaching Interstellar space soon !

After successfull voyages to desired destinations of Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune and all their artificial satellites, The Voyagers (1&2) were sent on to two different paths to exit the Solar System into Interstellar space.Voyager 1 was the first to cross the Solar System's outer zone what we call Heliosheath in the year 2012 and registered itself in Human records being the first man made object to reach interstellar space. Currently Voyager 1 is the farthest man made object in space, and is about 11.7 billion miles (18.8 billion kms) away from Earth, travelling at speeds of 61,000 km/hr. Voyager 2, the second Nasa probe had taken a different route and is currently thought to be in the zone of Heliosheath. But according to the US space agency, an increase in the amount of cosmic rays has been detected by the probe, which may indicate that it is close to approach the interstellar space, as…

Short story : Types of Stars

Short story : Types of Stars

Stars are the ultimate visibility factor we have in space. Without stars  the Universe would completely shred off to darkness. Stars are huge balls of burning gases, producing light and heat for billions of years. The fuel required for this bohemoth process comes from nuclear fussion, in this process the most common element found in the Universe Hydrogen is continously converted into Helium, which in turn produces energy in the form of heat and light.

But do all the stars in the Universe are of the same type ? Not exactly, on the basis of our understandings of the Universe, Stars may be the most diverse things possible present. From tiny brown dwarfs to red and blue supergiants. There are even more bizzare stars such as neutron stars and Wolf - Rayetstars. So let's see the different types of stars.

SUN

To understand the perception of different types of stars we firstly need to understand our own star The Sun and its physical characteristics.
Our Star is…

A new Planet named "Goblin" found in the outer fringes of the solar system.
A new dwarf planet has been discovered in the outer fringes of the Solar System. Scientists and astronomers believe it as an golden find, because it solves out their theory of "Planet X" to be present in our Solar System stronger. Various astronomers and cosmologists believe the presence of a super Earth planet beyond Pluto.
The dwarf planets official name is 2015TG387. It was discovered three years ago by a team of astronomers and researchers with the help of a special Subaru telescope in Hawaii. Scott Sheppard is the leading guy in this research, according to him

These distant objects are like breadcrumbs leading us to Planet X,
Sheppard along with his coleagues found 2015 TG387 in the year 2015 with the help of Subaru telescope atop the volcanic peak Mauna Kea in Hawaii, but it took three years for them to understand its orbit.

2015 TG387 orbits around the Sun in an extreme elliptical pa…

The  Exoplanets  Article  of Your Dreams

Since the evolution of Space, there has been a long thought over, if there are planets outside the Solar System. Everybody was quite certain about their presence but no certain proofs were availaible to justify the theory until 1988. Actually the first Exoplanet was observed in the year 1917, but due to its uncertainity it was ruled out afterwards. As of october 2018, 3851 confirmed exoplanets in 2871 systems have been found, of which 636 systems are thought to be orbited by more than one planet.
How did we came upon the first exoplanet ?

The first exoplanet was discovered in the year 1988, but the confirmed discovery came in the year 1992 when a planet was found beside a Pulsar. The pulsar named PSR B1257+12. This discovery was quite astonishing because pulsars are caused when a star is dying out and in such conditions the surrounding planets are distorted long before, but the planet was quite visible. From there on several exoplanets have b…
